On April 30, 2023, 20-year-old Chad Harrison Hinesley was fatally shot in Chowchilla, California. The incident occurred around 11:10 p.m. near Riverside Avenue and 10th Street, where police responded to reports of gunfire. Officers discovered Hinesley lying in the roadway with a single gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
