On the night of May 30, 2023, in Fresno, California, 18-year-old Zoe Salinas was fatally shot during a heated argument with her boyfriend, 19-year-old Jose Contreras. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. near Tyler Avenue and Bond Street, where officers found Salinas in the passenger seat of a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
