On the evening of July 23, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., 31-year-old Jorge Alberto Delgado-Urista was fatally shot in the 300 block of Third Street, near B Street, in Perris, California. Upon receiving reports of gunfire, Riverside County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene to find Delgado-Urista, a known transient in the area, suffering from severe gunshot wounds.
