On August 21, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 16-year-old Devonte White was fatally shot in the head at the Woodland Terrace Apartments, located at 15532 Nordhoff Street in North Hills, California. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene shortly thereafter.
