On September 7, 2024, at approximately 1:20 a.m., 50-year-old Ralph Walker was found fatally shot on the 1000 block of South Grandee Avenue in Compton, California. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Walker, a resident of Lynwood, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
