On September 22, 2024, in Val Verde near Castaic, California, 27-year-old Carlo Romo was tragically killed in a domestic incident that also resulted in the death of his father, 50-year-old Roberto Carlos Garcia. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office determined that Carlo Romo died from gunshot wounds, classifying his death as a homicide.
