On October 6, 2024, 34-year-old Pedro Martinez Zaragoza from Carson, California, succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office classified his death as a homicide, with formal pronouncement made at 5:33 a.m.
Following his death, a viewing was held on November 26, 2024, at Continental Funeral Home in Los Angeles. Subsequent funeral services took place in Panteon Municipal Cuitzeo, Municipio De Poncitlan, Jalisco, Mexico.
