In the late summer evening of September 4, 2023, the community of Whiteville, Tennessee, was shaken by a violent act that claimed the life of 21-year-old Markuvious Deshun Green, a Black / African American male also known as 'Lul Mane'. At approximately 9:45 p.m., law enforcement responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Webb Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Green unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A joint investigation was promptly launched by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Whiteville Police Department, and the Hardeman County Sheriff's Office. Their collaborative efforts led to the identification of three individuals believed to be responsible for Green's death. The investigation unfolded over the following weeks, culminating in a series of arrests.
With the assistance of the United States Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force and the McNairy County Sheriff's Office, the three suspects were taken into custody. Tyreco T. Sharp, 19, of Whiteville, was arrested on September 7. Isaiah D. Allen, 20, also of Whiteville, was apprehended on September 11. The third suspect, 22-year-old Quindario D. Nathan of Jackson, was arrested on September 18. All three men were charged with first-degree murder and booked into the Hardeman County Jail, each with a bond set at $250,000. Authorities indicated that further arrests were anticipated as the investigation continued.
