In the late summer evening of September 4, 2023, the community of Whiteville, Tennessee, was shaken by a violent act that claimed the life of 21-year-old Markuvious Deshun Green, a Black / African American male also known as 'Lul Mane'. At approximately 9:45 p.m., law enforcement responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Webb Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Green unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
