On August 2, 2024, 22-year-old Rantavious Me'Kal Johnson of Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life in a sequence of events that began with a shooting and culminated in a fatal car crash. Earlier that evening, Johnson had taken a photo with his grandmother, Veronica Johnson, before leaving her residence in her car. Less than three hours later, Veronica received the devastating news that her grandson had been shot and did not survive.
