On August 17, 2023, 39-year-old James Ford was fatally shot in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 4:40 p.m. outside an auto shop at Baltimore and Marple avenues. According to investigators, Ford was involved in an argument over car repairs with his nephew, 25-year-old Birchett Lamont King. The dispute escalated when King allegedly drew a firearm and shot Ford multiple times, resulting in his death at the scene.
