In the early hours of December 26, 2023, 23-year-old Ryan Main of Clairton, Pennsylvania, was found deceased at the intersection of Wylie Avenue and Reed Street. First responders arrived around 2:15 a.m. and discovered Main with a fatal gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Approximately 90 minutes later, a separate incident occurred nearby at the Millvue Apartment complex, where a fight among three men resulted in injuries, including at least one stabbing.
All three individuals were transported to local hospitals and were reported to be in stable condition. Authorities have stated that there is no indication that this altercation is connected to Main's death.
Ryan Main was a construction laborer and a father to his young son, Hunter. His mother, Roni Martin, has expressed profound grief over the loss of her son and concern for her grandson, who now faces life without his father. In an effort to seek justice, Martin has offered a personal reward of $5,000 for information leading to a conviction in her son's murder.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified in connection with Ryan Main's death.
