On the evening of July 28, 2023, in Wagram, North Carolina, 30-year-old Kayla Hodge was tragically killed during a home invasion at her residence on Hillcreek Road. Two masked men armed with firearms entered her home, demanding valuables with the phrase, "Give it up, you know what this is." During the confrontation, Hodge was fatally shot in the presence of her four children, whose ages ranged from six months to six years.
