On October 8, 2023, at approximately 4:15 p.m., a home invasion occurred at 106 Forest Circle in Aberdeen, North Carolina, resulting in the death of 23-year-old resident, TyNasha Amonie Collins. Upon arrival, deputies from the Moore County Sheriff's Office found Collins with a fatal gunshot wound. Investigations revealed that an exchange of gunfire took place between the intruders and the occupants of the home.
