On November 15, 2023, 26-year-old Raleigh resident Mrinal Chandu tragically passed away at the Youngsville Gun Club in Youngsville, North Carolina. Emergency responders, including the Youngsville Police Department, Franklin County Sheriff's Office, and Youngsville EMS, arrived at the scene following reports of a shooting incident. Despite their efforts to provide medical assistance, Mrinal was pronounced dead at the scene from a single self-inflicted gunshot wound.
