On the evening of June 1, 2024, Camden County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a 911 call reporting two deceased individuals at a residence on Thomas Point Road in Shiloh, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 57-year-old Randy Ingram and his wife, 55-year-old Judy Ingram, both dead from apparent gunshot wounds. A firearm and other evidence were recovered near the victims.
Randy Ingram was a retired journeyman lineman who had dedicated many years to the City of Elizabeth City Power Department. He was known for his commitment to his work and was respected by his colleagues. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed outdoor activities and working on classic cars. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Nicole Ingram, Samantha Ingram Bundy, and Austin Marie Ingram; his sister, Cathy Parks; his brother, Grover Winfred Ingram Jr.; and his grandchildren, Hayden and Hudson Bundy.
The Camden County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, is conducting an ongoing investigation into the deaths of Randy and Judy Ingram.
