James "Jim" William Pritchard, aged 73, passed away on August 8, 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born on February 26, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, Jim was a Vietnam War veteran who served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1970. Following his military service, he dedicated 35 years to a career as a lifeguard on Anna Maria Island in Florida, where he saved numerous lives and made a significant impact on his community.
