On December 30, 2023, in New City, New York, 10-year-old Liam Patrick Morgan was tragically killed in an apparent murder-suicide orchestrated by his father, Bronxville Police Sergeant Watson Morgan. Authorities discovered that Sergeant Morgan fatally shot his wife, Ornela, aged 43, and their two sons, Gabriel, 12, and Liam, before taking his own life.
