On the night of February 19, 2023, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Camden County Communications received a 911 call reporting a disturbance in the area of State Road FF and Pine Cove Road in Edwards, Missouri. The caller was heard pleading, "put the gun down... Alex, put the gun down," followed by sounds of a struggle before the call disconnected.
