On April 27, 2023, 77-year-old Frank G. Browers was fatally shot outside his residence on County Road 39, just beyond the Ironton city limits in Missouri. The incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m., with Browers sustaining gunshot wounds to his chest and head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
