On June 18, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Clay County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at a residence in the 16200 block of Kountry Ridge Drive, northeast of Kearney, Missouri. Upon arrival, they discovered 50-year-old Ricky Allen deceased from a gunshot wound.
