On June 25, 2024, at approximately 9:45 a.m., officers from the North County Police Cooperative responded to reports of gunfire near Greer and Kienlen Avenues in Hillsdale, Missouri. Upon arrival, they discovered 41-year-old Willie Thompson in the 6200 block of Bailey Place, suffering from a gunshot wound. Thompson, a resident of the 2300 block of Kienlen Avenue, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
