In the quiet community of Hillsdale, Missouri, the morning of June 25, 2024, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a call for shots fired near Greer and Kienlen Avenues, officers from the North County Police Cooperative discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the 6200 block of Bailey Place. The injured man was 41-year-old Willie Thompson, a resident of the 2300 block of Kienlen Avenue, not far from where he was found. Emergency services transported him to a local hospit ...
