In the spring of 2023, a light in Sussex County, New Jersey, was extinguished with the passing of 8-year-old Herman K. “Bud” Flood IV. A young Caucasian boy known for his vibrant personality and curious nature, Bud died on April 12, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
