In the afternoon of April 26, 2023, a quiet street in Ewing, New Jersey, became the scene of a fatal shooting. Dehaven Rogers, a 34-year-old Black male from Trenton, was found lying in the front yard of a residence at 75 Sussex Street with multiple gunshot wounds. The initial 911 call reporting the shooting came in at approximately 2:17 p.m., prompting a swift response from Ewing Police.
