A birthday celebration in Waterloo, South Carolina, turned tragic on the evening of April 15, 2023, ending in a shooting that claimed the life of 37-year-old Darren Mandez Hill. Deputies from the Laurens County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence on Coyote Drive around 8:25 PM following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered a chaotic scene with three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
