On July 22, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at the Tiger Express gas station on East Railroad Avenue in Allendale, South Carolina, resulting in the deaths of two local women. The victims were identified as 25-year-old Parris Ajayanna Lee and 34-year-old Herrinda D. Murdaugh. Both women sustained fatal gunshot wounds; Lee was pronounced dead at the scene, while Murdaugh succumbed to her injuries shortly after being transported to Allendale County Hospital.
