In the winter of 2024, the life of John Wesley Thomas III, a 24-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in North Charleston, South Carolina. On the evening of Saturday, January 27th, law enforcement responded to a call on Otranto Road where they discovered Thomas inside a vehicle, having succumbed to a gunshot wound.
