On May 7, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Aiken County Sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting incident on Jeffcoat Road in Wagener, South Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 53-year-old Timothy Davenport with multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head. He was transported to Lexington Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:50 p.m.
