On August 18, 2024, a fatal shooting incident occurred in Six Mile, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 49-year-old Steven Lee Basquette. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at approximately 9:42 PM at a residence located at 442 Crowe Creek Road in Six Mile.
