On February 17, 2023, 78-year-old Lynda Faye McCain was tragically killed in a series of shootings in Arkabutla, Mississippi. The assailant, identified as 52-year-old Richard Dale Crum, embarked on a violent rampage that resulted in six fatalities, including McCain. The victims were found at multiple locations, with McCain and her brother, George McCain, among those fatally shot.
