In the quiet, rural town of Arkabutla, Mississippi, a wave of violence shattered the community on February 17, 2023, claiming the life of 78-year-old Lynda McCain and five others. A resident of Southaven, Lynda was a woman known for her radiant personality and infectious laughter; she was said to have never met a stranger. Her life was deeply rooted in her faith and her family, particularly her two daughters and three grandchildren, in whose lives she was a constant and supportive presence.
