On the evening of July 11, 2023, the life of 27-year-old Jasmine Johnson was tragically cut short in her home on North Windridge Lane, just outside of Purvis, Mississippi. Lamar County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call shortly after 11:00 p.m. and discovered Johnson deceased from a single gunshot wound. The initial call was made by another woman in the house who reported hearing a gunshot.
