On December 30, 2023, 73-year-old Mary Deloise "Dee" Eady was tragically found deceased at her home in Forest, Mississippi. Authorities reported that she had suffered a gunshot wound, and her body had been partially burned. Evidence indicated that she had been sexually assaulted prior to her death.
