On June 9, 2024, at approximately 3:39 p.m., the Winona Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at 407 Sterling Avenue in Winona, Mississippi. Upon arrival, officers discovered 20-year-old Lashon King lying in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, King was pronounced dead at the scene.
