On August 19, 2024, 18-year-old Damarion "Kaso" Calvin tragically lost his life in a shooting at the August Circle Apartments in Booneville, Mississippi. Upon arrival, officers found Calvin and another individual, both with gunshot wounds, inside a vehicle. Calvin was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim was transported to a hospital, treated, and released.
