On February 13, 2023, Arielle Diamond Anderson, a 19-year-old student at Michigan State University (MSU), was one of three victims fatally shot during a mass shooting on campus in East Lansing, Michigan. The shooting occurred in Berkey Hall and the MSU Student Union, where the gunman, identified as Anthony McRae, opened fire on students.
