Death by Force

On July 19, 2024, 48-year-old Thomas "Hoop" Phifer was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Ten Eleven convenience store located in the 3200 block of Lippincott Boulevard in Burton, Michigan. Surveillance footage captured an altercation between Phifer and an unidentified suspect, who fled the scene heading west toward Dort Highway after the shooting.
