A promising life was cut tragically short on August 30, 2024, when Kara Welsh, a 21-year-old White female from Whitewater, Wisconsin, was found deceased. A talented and beloved gymnast at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, she was discovered in an apartment near the campus with multiple gunshot wounds.
