On October 31, 2024, 59-year-old Seattle resident Ricktor Murphy was fatally shot near the 5600 block of South Birmingham Street in Tacoma, Washington. The incident occurred just after 11:30 p.m., with witnesses reporting seven to eight gunshots. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene.
