On May 1, 2023, 27-year-old Cynquan Darnell Leggett was found deceased in his vehicle in a vacant lot on Park Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Leggett had been reported missing four days prior to the discovery of his body.
Following the incident, authorities identified 28-year-old Manija Downey as a suspect in Leggett's murder. Downey was apprehended on November 27, 2023, in the 2500 block of Hamilton Avenue.
