Damarion Whitsett, a 16-year-old from Cleveland, Ohio, tragically lost his life on May 30, 2023. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds behind the abandoned Audubon Middle School around 6:57 PM. Emergency services were called to the scene, but despite their efforts, Damarion was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that he died from gunshot wounds to the head, marking a tragic instance of gun violence in the community.
