On May 26, 2024, J'vion Zimmerman, an 18-year-old from Port Clinton, Ohio, was fatally shot in Findlay. The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in an alley located in the 100 block of Howard Street. Authorities discovered Zimmerman with at least one gunshot wound to the chest. He was promptly transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
