On August 22, 2024, Christopher Andexler, a 41-year-old resident of Cleveland, Ohio, was fatally shot in what police are investigating as a potential road rage incident. The shooting occurred on the Brecksville Road overpass above Granger Road in Valley View. Witnesses reported that Andexler and another driver engaged in a heated argument before shots were fired. Following the incident, Andexler was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
