In the late afternoon hours of July 7, 2023, a young Black man named Tymere Saideek Snead, 23, was fatally shot in a parking lot on the 300 block of West Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. near the Gold and Beyond pawn shop, situated between the Allure Las Vegas Condos and the Golden Steer restaurant.
