On September 6, 2024, Michael Sanchez, 47, was found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds in the 1300 block of Southwest Western Avenue in Topeka, Kansas. Officers responded to a report of an individual down shortly before 9 a.m. and discovered Sanchez, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
