William Dewayne Copeland, a 61-year-old resident of Oak Grove, Louisiana, died on Monday, April 24, 2023. The incident occurred at his home located at 134 Bran Road in West Carroll Parish.

According to the investigation, the West Carroll Parish Sheriff’s Office (WCPSO) was called to the residence by Copeland's wife, Frances Gilley Copeland, who requested aid.
