On June 26, 2023, Ashley Henning, a 32-year-old active-duty military service member, was fatally shot at her birthday party in Rineyville, Kentucky. The incident occurred during an argument with her husband, Jordan Mykol Henning, also 33 years old and an active-duty military service member. The couple, both stationed at Fort Knox, were hosting the birthday party when the dispute escalated.
