On February 20, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at a home on Washington Street in Woburn, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Mussie Nirayo from Cambridge. The incident was reported around 3:40 a.m. following a 911 call for a disturbance. Upon arrival, police found Mussie Nirayo dead at the scene and another man, 26-year-old Tyler Olivier of Woburn, suffering from gunshot wounds. Olivier was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
