Thomas Andrade Jr., a 31-year-old resident of Brockton, Massachusetts, was fatally shot in the early hours of July 5, 2023. The incident occurred near the intersection of Tremont and Essex Streets in Brockton. At approximately 1:48 a.m., Brockton Police received a Shotspotter activation and several 911 calls reporting multiple people shot in the area.
