On October 25, 2024, Brent F. Berkeley, a 41-year-old resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, was fatally shot in a tragic incident that occurred in the Middle Street parking lot in downtown Plymouth. The incident began as a minor traffic altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation between Berkeley and 23-year-old David Jerome, also of Plymouth.
