On July 29, 2024, Desmond Elon Kurtz, a 26-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, succumbed to injuries sustained in a shooting incident. The incident occurred in the 4100 block of Meadows Drive, where police responded to a report of a person down shortly after midnight.
