On February 18, 2023, Annissa Ellen-Williams, a 25-year-old woman from Oswego, Illinois, was found dead with a gunshot wound. The incident occurred when Oswego police responded to a call at approximately 6:56 a.m. on the 100 block of Presidential Boulevard, where Ellen-Williams was discovered lying on the ground outside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
